day 6 - art journaling

well Jan 6... sorry folks... the girl had a hockey game last night... just had to go... so misty said "join me " in self portraits... yikes... but the girl just walked past and said "oh it's you"... so go figure... it's a start... i'm working in a book i had created for the made show... and i'm just using the pages as they come... funny that the portrait day arrived at the old photo album page... it tickles me when things like that... appear...

day 4 - art journaling

i don't know why... i just wanted to learn how to make silly little crochet flowers... i made a few today... i think i would like to make a bunch in various colors of wool and put them together in a scarf... i wish there were wooden crochet needles... a little light just went off... i could use my rug hooking hooks... they all have wooden handles... i just don't like the "hand" of metal. well... thank you for helping me come around to that discovery... it was also fun to discover the "4" that showed up in the center of the flower...

one thing i realize about myself... is that i'm very good at the gathering up all the "stuff" the paints the pens... pencils... papers and such... but i walk around the artful setting and struggle at getting to the artful making... so this is good
